As a founding member of the award-winning band The Green, Zion has become a fixture in Hawaii’s modern music scene—blending roots reggae with island soul to create a sound that’s as vibrant and laid-back as the islands themselves.
But Zion’s story isn’t just about music, it’s about passion, culture, and staying true to where you come from. And that’s exactly why we’re proud to have him as part of the Oahu Golf Apparel ‘ohana.
Born and raised on the island of Oahu, Zion's musical journey started early. He grew up surrounded by the sounds of Hawaiian music, reggae, and soul, and was already playing gigs around Kailua in high school. His first serious band, Stir Crazy, helped lay the foundation for what would become The Green, a powerhouse of modern island reggae, formed in 2009 with longtime friends and fellow musicians.
Since then, The Green has released multiple chart-topping albums, toured globally, and built a loyal fanbase drawn to their fusion of island culture and heartfelt storytelling. Zion, known for his smooth vocals and thoughtful lyrics, is at the heart of that sound.
